OpenHive is a desktop app for delegating work to AI agents. Describe the result you need—such as a researched account list, a competitor comparison, or outreach drafts—and follow the work in one place. A colony is the workspace for a task. Its lead agent, called a queen, plans the work and can delegate parts to workers. You can ask follow-up questions, inspect the results, and reuse the workflow.

What runs where?

The desktop app includes a local agent runtime. OpenHive Cloud provides account and workspace services, and colonies can also be deployed to a cloud computer. Connected services and model providers process the requests sent to them; local execution does not mean every piece of data stays on your device. See Local and cloud work before leaving a task unattended. You do not need to clone a repository or install Node.js to use a packaged desktop release.
