Settings covers everything that isn’t a per-colony choice — who you are, which company your hive works on, which models it uses, and how the app looks.

Account

Billing and plan changes open in a browser rather than in the app. If a payment fails you’ll see a Payment failed prompt to update your details — see Credits and plans.

The company your hive works on

Your workspace is pointed at one company: the subject of what the Foundry forges and what your queens research. To work on a different company, reset it from Settings and open the Foundry to choose the new one.
Resetting the company changes the basis of your queens’ research. Do it when you’re genuinely switching subject, not to try something out.

AI Model

Choose the model lineup your agents run on, including premium models where your plan allows. You can return to the default OpenHive lineup at any time. Adaptive worker budgets lets OpenHive size each worker’s budget to the job rather than applying one fixed allowance across every task. Your own provider keys are managed separately, in Credentials.

Connected services

A summary of what’s connected — Slack, Gmail, and the rest. The full catalog lives in Credentials.

Appearance

  • Theme — light, dark, or follow the system.
  • Density — how much information is packed into each screen.
  • Message preview tab and smart dropdown select — smaller interaction preferences.

Advanced and developer options

Advanced settings expose the machinery: runtime logs for diagnosing a misbehaving run, and developer toggles that turn on surfaces still being finished — including email senders and the CRM setup flow. You can also replay the onboarding walkthrough from here.
Developer options gate features that aren’t finished. Turning one on can expose a surface that isn’t ready — leave them off unless you’re deliberately testing.

Cloud Dashboard opens your OpenHive Cloud account in a browser, for anything managed server-side rather than in the app.
