Two kinds of credit

Daily credits

Refresh every day and expire at 00:00 UTC. Spent first, so an unused day is a day wasted rather than banked.

Standing credits

Never expire. Drawn on only after the day’s allowance is gone.
Because daily credits are always spent first, standing credits act as a buffer for heavy days rather than a balance you burn through steadily.

Reducing credit use

Adding your own model provider key in Credentials means you pay that provider directly instead of drawing on your bundled allotment. For high-volume work — bulk enrichment, large prospect lists — this is usually the cheapest way to scale.
