You can start using OpenHive by describing a task. These terms help when you want to inspect or reuse the work.

Follow one task through the app

You ask for a competitor comparison. OpenHive routes it to a queen and opens a colony. The queen may delegate individual companies to workers. You read progress in chat, inspect collected tables in Data, and check delegated work under Automation. If a result needs revision, reply in the same colony. If you want a similar task for a different market, reuse the prompt in a new colony.

Persistence does not mean continuous execution

A colony remains available when it is idle. To invoke work repeatedly, create a schedule. To run while your computer is off, inspect cloud deployment. Agents can ask for input, but the timing of review depends on the instructions and workflow. State required review points in your task brief.

Decide where to put reusable context

Use memory for facts and standing context, skills for procedures, and the prompt library for reusable task briefs.
